**Dawne** , UK sizes are the same as AUS sizes. From what I’ve heard, an 8 converts to a size 4, but in my experience with US labels it’s often more of a size 2. ---

Thanks. Its just that i kept reading that sizes like 14 are considered large and if that was a UK size 14 then it wouldn’t make sense. so do you double UK sizes? ---

I know plenty of really nice guys who are married, including my husband. I know plenty of beautiful chicks married to or with nice guys. In fact, most of the guys I know are nice. Men are awesome. You should start a thread about why you see the world so dismally. I’m sure people would have lots of suggestions and support for you. Also, there have been countless threads that cover the topic of exactly what “nice guy” is and apparently, it can sometimes be confused with passive, which is probably mostly a turnoff for both genders. ---

(IMHO always) the truth as I see it is being overweight is unhealthy and it says something about a persons personality. A person who smokes too much, or drinks too much, same thing. If you feel you constantly need to satisfy something by using food, cigarettes, beer, liquor, sex, tv…the list can go on. I think it is fear or something like it. You are neglecting other aspects of yourself. I speak from experience and think it is sad when I see fellow women being proud of being overweight. I could stand to lose a few pounds. Not solely because I want to look “hot” or wear whatever I want, but because my knees hurt sometimes or I cant practice Aikido efficiently. Being overweight is limiting to living and by God it is hard to control when nature isnt on your side. Just because you are overweight doesnt mean you are a horrible awful person, you just need to ask yourself what really is going on with you and what is it you really want, you may find its not really that extra slice of cake, or pizza. Oh and to those guys and girls who feel the need to lash out at overweight people, why? What makes you different. You probably have the same problem, it just manifests a different way. Ex the guy on here who freaked out. Well what was your ass on fire for? Ask yourself. We are no different from one another no matter how hard we try to be special and unique and “something”. Well, enough, right? oh and I smoke too much, eat too much when I have PMS, and generally obsess about things that dont really matter, like giving my opinion on this message board. Geez, sign on to check your e-mail right? ---

Dawne, according to this : [http://www.geocities.com/fsubrides/page58.html](http://www.geocities.com/fsubrides/page58.html) your UK size 8 converts to US size 7. now i looked up some of top supermodels’ dress sizes ( Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Laetitia Casta ) and they all came up as size 6 - 8. i am sorry that i didn’t catch this earlier ( didn’t know dress sizes ) but where did you get this size 0 to 2 as what i supposedly say men prefer ? or that hollywood is supposedly pushing ? ---

I am not accusing anyone of anything illegal or immoral. Women like assholes while they are young, and once assholes are no longer interested in them, they settle for nice guys. How is this an accusation? ---
