I make any potential sexual partners sign waivers\* (exonerating me from liability in the event of STDs, pregnancy, etc.), NDAs, and contracts preventing them from reneging or changing their mind after the fact and accusing me of non-consensual activity. I also get an ID/birth certificate, copies of their health insurance, medical history, and criminal records before moving forward. Itā€™s just standard procedure - you have to protect yourself these days. \*I realize that such an agreement certainly would not hold up in court, but Iā€™m trying to make a joke here so give me a little leeway ---
