# Last edited by...

I messed up the coding in a post, sent a message to the mods, who fixed it for me. When that happens, there’s usually a message on the post saying _last edited by [modname] on [date] reason : fixed coding._ but on this occasion it didn’t appear. How come? Not important, just curious. And gratitude to the mod that fixed it, BTW.

Probably because I willed it to not appear. :eek:
There are a few options we have when editing posts, and I guess I used one that wasn’t the default.
Maybe I’ll try out some more options sometime. Just be glad I don’t have Admin powers Like Lynn!!

Hmm. It is supposed to appear. My wild-arse guess would be that there’s some short time period (not more than a few minutes) when editing doesn’t create the “Edited by…” notice.
However… I dunno.

Well, when I edited your post with the error, **Peter Morris** , my “edited by” tagline appeared. I guess that means **samclem** ’s got some funked-up groovy powers some of the rest of us don’t.
