Library volunteer here: 99% plus of the DVDs, or any other media, donated to our library does not end up in the circulating collection. If it’s suitable to put out for sale, we do that and convert them to cash, to pay for things that aren’t otherwise in the library’s budget.
Don’t forget about interlibrary loan, either.
