No joke. Last night, I dreamed I was in a house in a suburban development and I met the real life **Der Trihs.** I knew it was him because there was a big flag on his wall that said **Der Trihs.** I asked him if he was on the Straight Dope and when he said yes I told him that I was on it too and told him my username. He seemed to be in his late 20s, had long-ish curly brown hair, and a beard. (He looked a little like the lead singer of Built to Spill, but with more hair.) He had various radical/activist memorabilia and posters all over his room. If you’re reading this: is any of what I dreamed actually accurate? Like many dreams, I can’t really remember anything else about the context or “plot,” but I do remember meeting him. I think I also dreamed that I was looking at the weather forecast and it said it was going to be 9 degrees, and feeling excruciatingly disappointed. Weird, very weird. ---

**Der Trihs** is 38, so you’re off by 10 years (he mentioned it once, and I remembered because he is only 8 months younger than myself… I’m not a creepy stalker or anything) That’s all I can help you with. ---

Well, if I’m going to be dreamed about, I better at least be amazing in bed. You know, so as to keep the dream as close to reality as possible. I’m kinda eager to see the answer, even though it’s going to be a resounding “no”. ---

Wrong age, I live in an apartment, my walls are blank - I don’t have memorabilia of any kind, in fact. I _certainly_ don’t have a flag that says **Der Trihs** or anything else. My hair is straight, very dark brown and I do have a beard. ---
