Certainly the laws of nature dictate that at some time in the future there will no longer be any Charter Members on this board. I ask now that SDMB, e.g. Creative Loafing Media, award a prize for the last standing Charter Member. Beyond the recognition, a prize will give us a long term goal to shoot for. Plus, if the owner’s choice of prize is big bucks (inflation protected), well, that would be nice, too. However, our Most Herald Leader might have a more appropriate prize in mind for the winner. How about it? Please? (Needless to say, C.M.s would be ethically obligated not to dilute the base by subversive means.) ---

No. Can’t inherit, can’t give away a screen name, can’t sell it, etc. Everyone must have their own individual screen name, one and only one. It’s not a commodity that can be bought and sold or traded or given away – or should be. ---

Maybe the administrators can think of a non-monetary recompense, such as an hour at Charlie Rose’s table. Or be allowed to sit in for Andy Rooney one time. There must be something… Any good ideas out there? ---
