From reading the novels, this seems to be intentional.

I love Eric, even though I am normally not attracted to blonde men, and then came Alcide.

Oh. My. God.

Yes, it’s a pretty silly show, but it’s snappy and funny (at times) and a guilty pleasure.

Well, despite my issues with some of the characters, I do like the show. Probably not enough to obsessively catch each new episode, but it’s worth proceeding to Season 2 on Netflix…

HBO is re-running assorted episodes of True Blood (tonight, 8 p.m. - midnight), tomorrow (Tuesday, 8 p.m. - 10:30), Wednesday 8 p.m - 10, and Thursday 8 p.m - 11… I, for one, couldn’t be happier, being all Christmassed out.
