When someone talks about a pint over here, they are in 99% of cases talking about a pint of beer. Pints aren’t really used for anything else, not even other alcoholic drinks never mind say diesel or industrial fluids. I think this is because any pub who moved from pints to selling 500mls would have very quickly lost custom.
Then again, Scotland has moved from selling 1/5 gill (used to be 1/6 in England) shots to 25ml shots, mostly, which is shorting their previous customers, although the gill is way before my time - I’ve only become aware of it due to now having a local that sell 1/5 gill shots.
Uh, yeah, I know that. England is a heavy drinking place, but I don’t think they drink tumblers of vodka. I mean “5 pints” can mean shotgunning several in succession, or it can mean 5 over the night. The latter is not heavy drinking and would not lead to a high BAC IMHO, the former is going to put your BAC way over 0.08
Simethicone - I give this to my rabbit when he has bad tummy gas. I use wind drops for babies which I buy from the supermarket. I don’t plan on getting him drunk or letting him drive either.
