I did Google News search and it did turn up. Here’s the story from [The Miami Herald](http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/living/people/9525414.htm). And the AP story from the Gazette in [Charleston, West Virginia](http://www.saturdaygazettemail.com/section/APNews/News/ap0668n).

I’m not sure how many people are aware that she appeared Off-Broadway in “Love, Janis”, the story of Janis Joplin’s life and apparently she NAILED the part. She will definitely be missed.
