# Law & Order: UK Original storylines?

I DVR’d and am now watching the most recent season of Law & Order: UK. So far I’ve recognized every single story from the original US series. Sometimes they are slightly different, but sometimes it’s nearly the identical episode.

Were previous seasons like this, too? Do they ever do original storylines?

Yes, they’ve been recycling old L&O scripts since the beginning. Cheaper than hiring writers, I guess.

That’s too bad. I was really hoping for some original scripts. I like characters, but I’m bored with the recycled plots.

I watched a UK L&O that I don’t remember see in in the US L&O. UK Season 6 (2009) **Dawn to Dusk**. But I could be wrong;)

[Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Law_%26_Order:_UK_episodes) says that was based on an episode called Mayhem from the original series. And weirdly, the latest series of Law & Order: UK is being shown in the US before the UK.
