The people of those states can all kiss my ass. It’s sleazy and unethical even when there’s consent, and in this case, there was no consent. She wasn’t a prostitute. She was a kidnapped child brought there to be raped against her will. I don’t see how you can call that “meh.” ---

Don’t know how many of you caught the arraignment of LT, but his lawyer seems a bit “out there”. Clearly, he wants to make a name for himself, but he looked and sounded like a complete jackass. This looks pretty bad. Based solely on what I’ve heard so far, we have a $300 payment to a pimp (who was also arrested), a runaway 16 year old girl who was picked up by one of her parents, and LT getting busted. His lawyer claims there was no sex, which means that LT paid $300 to sit and talk to the poor girl about life. It’s all a misunderstanding! The lawyer also said something that was eye opening. In arguing for a reduced bail, he said that the majority of these felony cases are plead down to misdemeanors. WTF kind of argument is that? I think he’s screwed. Really? LT, a 51 year old man, one of the greatest linebackers in history has to pay to have sex? And his woman of choice is an underage girl? This is just sad. I’m betting he gets the maximum sentence. ---

He’s being charged with a class E felony. If the DA thought he forced her against her will it would be a much higher letter. I assume that would be a Class A felony, and would carry a higher maximum penalty than 4 years. His charges are soliciting a prostitute and statutory rape. If he beat her and forced her, I’d want to see him do more time than a lousy 4 years. ---
