He was once asked for evidence that he was near death during that experience, and he replied that the fact that he had that experience was proof that he was near death…otherwise he wouldn’t have had that experience. :rolleyes: ---

I wouldn’t wish a real NDE on anyone, as they tend to come with severe medical complications. It’s the difference between saying, “I hope he falls in love some day” and “I hope he has a heart-attack.” The former is fair and acceptable – and in fact I do hope that for him – but the latter is too harsh. It would be nice for him to “wake up” some day. ---

It’s true… It might lead him to be a debunker…but, more to the point, to be a rabid, fanatical, obsessed debunker. To out-Randi Randi. To lose as many hours of his life in denying spiritualist crap as he has in promoting it. Either way, a hell of a loss of human potential. But there is always the hope for a life of intelligent moderation. He really needs something else to focus his energy on.
