Bernie’s speech convinced me to vote for Hillary last night. I love that man, and I want to give him a hug.
Hate “Bernie Bros” all you want… But Bernie is a great man IMHO.

I am even more confused: supposedly this was a leak of 20,000 emails, but the only thing we’ve heard is that a few of them discuss playing up Sanders’ Judaism in Southern states. Which apparently was not done.
So, yes, the DNC pushed things towards its preferred candidate.
Some DNC staffers talked about a fairly ugly tactic to that end, but the tactic was never used.

I don’t know that this makes a difference, but they discussed playing up his atheism in Southern states, not his Judaism.
That’s how I see it, too: they talked about dirty tricks, and didn’t employ them. To me, it’s like “Climategate.” A bunch of emails that talked trash, but didn’t actually contain any “smoking gun.”
The only meat on these bones is the Democratic Party’s superdelegate system, which does “rig” the overall outcome – and Sandiers knew all about that going in. No one needed leaked emails to blow the cover off that deep, dark secret: it was in the rules package that Sanders and Clinton both signed when they applied to run.
Sanders’ supporters did far more to turn me off of him than his own politics. I don’t deal well with screeching.

But the fat is the Democratic Party’s unfair and undemocratic* caucus *system, which allowed Bernie a chance. So, the “system” helped Bernie far more than it hurt.

Point being, it’s not the DNC’s job to maintain some kind of level playing field, but to ensure the “right Democrat” is chosen to carry their standard. So much of the bitching so far is from people who don’t understand the difference between primary and general elections…
But, but… “We wuz robbed!”
And it may be the reason he delivers Clinton’s *nominating *speech tomorrow. Rumor has it.

None of that proves the primary was rigged. It just shows the DNC wanted Hillary as the nominee.
Had Sanders won more votes, he would’ve been the nominee. The GOP didn’t want Trump as their nominee, but he won the most votes.
There is a huge difference between ‘the DNC and official democratic party wanted Hillary to win’ and ‘the primary was rigged so Sanders couldn’t win’. Sanders still could’ve won, he just didn’t have enough votes.
Had this been a closer election, then this would be a bigger issue. But Sanders would’ve lost regardless.
Did the flying cyber monkeys plant information, or did they just reveal it? Sure it is a bad thing that someone got their email hacked, but the content of what was revealed is the sole responsibility of those who wrote it.
