> On what island is Manx most commonly spoken?

Trick question – the language is no longer spoken as a primary language by anyone, although there are currently efforts to revive the tongue, including making it the means of communication at an Isle of Man school known as _Bunscoill Ghaelgagh_. Ned Maddrell, who died in 1974, was the last surviving native speaker of Manx. (I saw him mentioned in a recent _Ripley’s Believe It or Not!_ cartoon, and thus knew the basic fact, although I used _Wikipedia_ to research the revival effort.)
