# Learn to type program

What is the best program for teaching a 6th grader how to type. Mavis Beacon is kind of boring. Are there any more interesting programs out there?

I was a programmer for about 10 years before I learned to type. I used Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor that I got from [Download.com](http://Download.com). It has a couple of games (maybe more by now, it was several years ago when I used it) that helps keep things interesting.
