No big deal.
Newly trained tailors of men’s suits enter the work force on a regular basis.
You seem to have a head start on the sewing end. Why not you?

I started by taking thrift store clothes and old clothes I hate and altering them to fit better and be more intersting. Then I branched out to the discount fabric store. See if you can find one in your area- mine sells perfectly good fabric at $1.75 a yard and has more selection than most normal fabric stores.
