I have read some of edward do bono’s ideas of thinking and I have been exposed to ideas from altshuller and his TRIZ.
I was wondering can anybody name other people who tried to develop ways for people to become more creative and wrote ideas on the subject of thinking and creativity?

One of my coworkers was recently reading A Whack on the Side of the Head: How You Can Be More Creative by Roger von Oech which is _not_ a book anyone who knows me wants me to read, so I can’t tell you if it’s any good. I couldn’t recall the title so I did a google image search for “book more creative thinker” to find the cover and it came up with apparently similar books as well: Idea Factory; Thinkertoys; Cracking Creativity…
