I sincerely doubt most of those were actually played at a wedding anywhere. Let’s stick to the OP folks, what’s wanted here are inappropriate songs _ **you actually heard at a wedding.** _ My vote goes to a friend of mine who wanted to have Sting’s _Fields of Gold_ played at her wedding. She didn’t listen too closely to the lyrics, I guess, and thought it was about a relationship that started passionately and was still going strong many years later, with kids and all. I had to explain that it’s about a brief affair that DIDN’T work out, and the man is looking in from outside at the happy life she made with someone ELSE. JUST the sort of omen you want at your nuptials. ---

How about CCR’s “Bad Moon Risin’”? “I see a bad moon risin’ I see trouble on the way.” Would have been perfect for my sister’s wedding to a guy that everyone immediately pegged as a loser. Not surprisingly, the marriage turned out to be a complete train wreck. ---

Well, one of the first songs played at my sister’s wedding was “White Wedding”. I’ve also heard REM’s “the one I love” at weddings - uh, listen to the lyrics first, people. –tygre ---

At my sister’s wedding the first song the band played was “The Break Up Song” by Greg Kihn. It turned out that it was the bands last gig and they wanted to point that out, they didn’t realize that the song was rather inappropriate to be the first song at a wedding. Keith ---

The DJ at my cousin’s wedding played “Bad Touch” by Bloodhound Gang and I just thought it was inappropriate. There’s something unsettling about watching your relatives dance to that song. ---
