I’m so thankful that they killed Lucy off. Finally, the show can take on new characters with depth and personality…oh wait, they gave us that Cleo person… She adds absolutely nothing to the show, except for mediocre sub-plot lines. The (fairly) new detective on Law and Order, Detective Green or something like that is really annoying. Bring back Chris Noth! The fact that they change a cast member ever half season doesn’t help matters either… Wesley from TNG, of course… Thats about it. As soon as I post this though, I’ll think of more… ---

I absolutely cannot stand **Lindsay Dole** on _The Practice_. I think there is **no** chemistry between her and Bobby, whatsoever. Besides which, I also think she’s a bitch and a snob. (Can anyone tell me what it is that Bobby supposedly sees in her? That whole relationship has always seemed so forced to me.) Now that the character’s pregnant, I can’t wish her dead, but I’m sorry she didn’t die when that wacko knifed her last season. ---

I haven’t seen many recent episodes, so maybe she’s gotten better. Rachel from “Friends” is such an annoying, awful character I’m really glad she isn’t a real person. The way she continually, intentionally ruins Ross’s life and relationships with her petty jealousy is appalling. Ick. She’s everything I would never want to date, or even let my brother date. ---

Scrappy Doo! I could never stand that neurotic terrier with a Napoleon Complex… I’d list Frank, Daphne, and Thelma (Velma? Selma? I can never remember) too, but they had the all-important role of going the other direction while Shaggy and Scooby found the monster… ---

**Dr. Romano** on _ **E.R.** _ - no one is that evil and smug. Doctors just don’t get shoved around like he seems to be able to do. In fact, just about everybody on E.R. bugs these days, but he’s the worst. Here’s another vote for **Ross** on _ **Friends** _. And one for **Janice** - they seem to think she’s the kind of character you love to hate, but you really just hate to watch her. **Drew’s brother** on _ **Drew Carey** _- he’s a whiny drag (no pun intended) that slows down any scenes he’s in. I was never very fond of **Karla** on _ **Cheers** _. And cartoon characters I could do without include **The Wonder Twins, Gleek, Marvin and Wendy** from the _ **Superfriends** _; **any “doo” besides Scooby** , and **Minmei** from _ **Robotech** _. ---

And in regards to Niles and Daphne getting together on Frasier, didn’t the writers ever watch Moonlighting? The show died once Dave and Maddie got together. ---

It does appear that Doo may in fact be the family name, see this list of Scooby’s relations… Scooby Dum, cousin Scooby Dee, cousin Scrappy Doo, nephew Ruby (Rooby) Doo, sister and Scrappy’s mother Grandpa Scooby Yabba Doo, Scooby’s brother Whoopsy-Doo, cousin Dooby Doo, look-alike cousin Dixie Doo, cousin Skippy Doo and Howdy Doo, brothers All of Scooby Doo’s siblings share the name ‘Doo’. Not all of his cousins do. ‘Scooby’ also seems to be a very common name in his family, perhaps in honor of ‘Grandpa Scooby’ (I personally believe that Scooby Doo’s grandfather may also have been named Scooby Doo, and the most famous Scooby Doo might actually be Scooby Doo III). ---

Hillary on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Her snobbish ignorance was no doubt meant to be humorous, but she frankly just annoyed me to no end. Ross and Rachel on Friends. They used to be funny and add the whole romance thing to the show, but Pheobe and Joey have taken over the humor roles, and Monica and Chandler the romance. Ross is spastic and Rachel is a brat!! And even though this show isn’t scripted, there were two people on the Real World (New Orleans) who bugged me: Kelley and David. Kelley was uncompassionate and full of herself and David…well…anyone who watched the show knows he was the token jackass of the house. ---

I hate **Alan Alda** on MASH. I never even knew he was supposed to be the star the first time around. I thought that was McLean Stevenson. So I tended to ignore him as one of the whiney characters you tend to ignore. Now, of course I know who he is and can hate him in reruns. ---
