Welcome home, **Peaches**!!! If I knew you was comin’, I’da baked a cake!!! (Wonder how many will get an earworm from that??) 😃 I went to bed with much slathered hydrocortisone and a bright pink antihistamine. I woke once with some itching in one spot, so I did some more slathering, and within 15 minutes or so, I was unconscious again. We finally got up around 6:30-ish. I’ve showered and dressed in grubbies and I just finished breakfast. \*\*FCD \*\*has run to work to check on a few things, but he’ll be back soon. My big plans for today involve tidying the kitchen, then cleaning the disaster that is the guest room. When I was showing my coworker/house sitter where he’ll be sleeping, I was met with a bazillion framed pictures on the guest bed. Kinda forgot I’d done that, so I need to deal with them, then clean the room and make the bed. Last big chore is cleaning the critter fountain - I may just do that while doing the kitchen. It’s overcast with a chance of rain today and a bigger chance tonight. And more tomorrow. I hope we get some nice, steady showers rather than a deluge. Not that I have any control over it… Anyway, Happy Firday!! ---

Back from Food Lion. First time in a long time I did a major shop, but thanks to coupons, I got out of there for under $90. Luckily, \*\*FCD \*\*beat me home, so he was able to help me unload the car. But then he owed me, since I scooped the kitteh box this morning. 😃 I also stopped at the Amish market and got some 'maters, cukes, and corn. Supper tonight will be ham, cabbage, carrots, and some sort of starch. Meanwhile, the kitchen is clean, the critter fountain is clean, and I’m thinking about attacking the guest bedroom. Yep, thinking hard about that… ---

Hmm, they had a different minion balloon, with grey dungarees, ([this one](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DG7Mt6kUMAAAehl.jpg)) up and tethered for a bit in the arena. I didn’t get to see many of the balloons though- they only got a few out, 'cos the arena isn’t that big, it was quite windy, and I only saw about 10 go over this morning (there were certainly more, but I’m several miles away and can only see a little sky from the house). Hopefully they’ll manage a 6pm launch tomorrow when I’m irking, so’s I can properly watch. It happens every year, and I’ll quite likely be around this time next year; I’m only moving a few hours away, and the fiesta’s always in skool holidays, which I’d like to partly spend here 'cos it’s nice and I know lots of people, so let me know if you do plan to come over! ---

Odd morning. Rather than adult I talked on the phone this morning. We got two actual phone calls (not robo-calls) — one from a friend I hadn’t seen in a couple years and another from an old college friend I haven’t seen in decades. Much catching up and laughing was involved. So **Spidey** ---- if you tried to call I’m sorry about that. Literally as I hung up from the first call the phone rand for the second. Never do I talk for like 2 hours straight -------------- despite what my wife claims. 🙂 ---

Happy Firday! Ir’s cloudy today and not as cool so no open windows this morning. No puppy pics yet. The breeder has her grandchildren for the week and I totally understand that she wants to make the most of her time with them. I’m also happy that the grandkids are playing with the puppies, the more the better. Long time no see **Peaches**! Another not so productive day again today. I didn’t sleep well last night and so took a nap after my morning irk shift. I need to get some lunch and then get some stuff done around here. ---

Back from the hairdresser and the gocery store. I hope everyone will be happy i now have 32 rolls of terlet paper. It started bucketing down as soon as I drove in the yard so I did get wet unloading the groceries. Now its all put away, I am in a dry shirt and am just tuckered out. I foresee a nap. ---
