He is apparently making a big announcement. I hate the whole big show he is making around it. I am guessing this next season is his last. Or he is joining the Detroit Pistons. Please!!! ---

I’m guessing it’s something political, along the lines of Black Lives Matter (of which he’s an advocate), but focused on immigrants. ---

I still think of him as “that guy who went pro straight out of high school”, and so my mental image of him is still early 20s or so. Talk of him retiring, or having a son playing professionally, just sounds surreal to me. ---

The only other player I can think of who did that was Moses Malone, who played from age 19 until 40. Is there anyone else? You’d pretty much have to be drafted straight out of high school. ---

I’m not convinced LeBron retires just yet. He’s still performing at a high level, and the Lakers seem built for another playoff run if they stay healthy. I think he’ll wait to play one season alongside Bronny before walking away. His influence on and off the court already guarantees his legacy, regardless of how it ends.
