Holy sh!t, are all of those teams in England?! That’s one hell of a knock-out tournament!
Has there ever been a team from outside of the four main divisions to win it?

Yeah - many of them are tiny amateur teams - the kind of place where the ground is just the pitch, or maybe complemented by a small hut optimistically called a ‘changing room’. But they regularly compete in local FA divisions etc. Also, the first stages of the FA cup are regionally-organised, so the teams aren’t all crossing the country for their initial matches.
Spurs won when they were non-league - back in 1901.
Trivia question: which team from the very first FA Cup still competes under the same name? (NO GOOGLING!!!)
Dude, I didn’t even know what the F.A. Cup was! There is no way in hell I can answer that question. Unless of course you were firing that out to everybody, in which case I slide back under my Yankee rock.
When you say Spurs, who are you referring to? I’ll WAG and say Tottenham, but when I see Spurs, I immediately think of San Antonio.
Based on your response, let me rephrase my question: In the modern era, who is the greatest underdog to ever win the F.A. Cup?
Thanks
Zoff, if you go further up Briggate (Whitelocks is near the bottom) theres about 3 or 4 pubs down little alleyways - The Pack Horse, The Ship and the Angel, which are also all good. I’d go for a pint with you if I still lived up there. At all costs, avoid the Headrow - namely The Vine, 3 Legs and Big Lils. They are absolute shitholes full of idiots that will kill you.
Now this is the kind of information I like to know!
I was going to offer to buy you a pint for your help. The offer stands if we ever bump into each other. And if anybody else finds themselves in Leeds while I’m there I’d be happy to buy the first round.
I just bought a ticket for the Everton game. I think I should be able to make it on time and even if I’m a little late it will be worth it. I’m trying to decide whether to go to the Blackburn game. I’d have to leave early to catch the last train. It would be tough to leave early but it might be worth it just to get the experience of another game in another stadium.
You’re welcome chief. Under no circumstances go in the pub in the train station either. I think its the Kings Arms. Its quite possibly the most depressing place i’ve ever been.
Enjoy yourself in the North. It rules.
