It no doubt represents the last gasp of the fixation on two thousand years. While no one in scholarly circles seems to think anymore that the alleged Resurrection and Ascension can be dated to 33 AD, some nincompoops no doubt are out there assuming that Jesus was born in 1 AD, rather than 4 BC or earlier. Hence 33 AD as the starting date. There is probably also room for skepticism that Jesus started an active ministry at the age of 30. And IIRC that the 4th Gospel, “John” strongly indicates a length of one year, rather than three, as all of the Synoptic Gospels are pretty clear about. Again, IIRC. ---

I got Raptured on Friday night. It was OK. It was awesome at first when a bunch of us selected folks rose up to heaven, we were all like high fiving and trying to spit over the side down to Earth and all that, but eventually the guacamole ran out, we’d heard the same songs on the playlist at least 5 times each, and people just wanted to go home.
