Richard III is going to be insanely good. Have you seen James Newcomb (the lead) in anything else? He’s stunningly brilliant.

I’ll toss another vote in for Reno. Never been to Tahoe, but from what I hear, there’s more to do in Reno (except skiing, obviously).

I saw him in Henry VI Part II last year. Which is why I _must_ return and see him in Richard III.

Me too! Also saw him as Dogberry in Much Ado, wherein he managed to make my least favorite part of that show the funniest. He was definitely at the top in HVI, though. I’m with you – the show ended, I dove for my program to make sure he was doing Richard III, and said, “I’ve GOT to see that next year!”
I’m also excited to see Tyler Layton and Jeff Cummings in Love’s Labour’s Lost, but nowhere near as much as I am about Richard. 🙂

Well, my counting could be a little off, but it looks like so far we’ve narrowed the running down for a possible Left Coast Fest to\*\* Reno, Ashland, and Sacramento\*\*.
These numbers are close:
Reno, NV - around 15 votes
Ashland, OR - around 13 votes
Sacramento, CA - around 11 votes
About 8-10 people expressed interest and said they could make it just about anywhere, including the above locations.
My top pick is still **Reno**.
We could make any of those three, but I think the cheap rooms/gambling/proximity to Tahoe makes Reno a winner for me.

Forgot to mention I could probably make it to Ashland or Reno as well, but in the event Sacto is out of the running, I’d take Reno as my second choice.

Reno and Sacramento are fine by me. Both are too far for just a day trip, but close enough to be drivable (cutting down on transportation costs). Sharing motel/hotel rooms would make it even more affordable (for those who are comfortable with that, of course).
