Let’s temporarily handwave away all the legal/Constitutional stuff about Second Amendment and gun rights and everything, and just say we ban guns and start going door to door in every gun-owning household in America, “FBI and ATF, here to confiscate!” 400 million guns is a lot, and the feds/ATF couldn’t possibly get them all, but to what extent would it prevent shootings like the one at Uvalde and Buffalo? ---

There are no shortage of gun debates currently. I’m closing this one as it covers no new ground that I can see. Try this as just a question in the Stupid Gun news thread or something like that.
