Lego lust:

Must. Resist. Buying. Lego.

I’m a recovering lego adict. In my youth I had enough legos to fill 2 garbage pales and enough “good parts” to built all sorts of ships and bases and really cool things.

Gave up the habit in highschool. I still weep for my 50,000 piece collection (that took 12 years to get).

Ah who am I kidding? I’m probably going to buy that at the end of this month and my GF is totally going to hurt me.

My son wants one of those. It’s the first time we’ve had to say “absolutely not” to a lego request. Even if it was affordable, I doubt we’d have room for it. Hubby is already making plans for a special lego shelf. One time the box containing the 680 pieces to Hogwarts Castle spilled into the unlit closet. The thought of the same thing happening with the Imperial Star Destroyer gives me hives.

I’ve got one! I’ve got one!

My lovely wife got it for me for Christmas last year…still putting it together.

It’s gargantuan…and pretty sweet.

Stonebow, you’re still putting it together?!?

Holy moly man, don’t your fingers just itch, wanting to finish it?

Actually many of the outdoor models at Legoland Windsor were looking a little worse-for-wear - faded by the sun and frost, no doubt.

[Minor hijack] Oh! I nipped over the the Lego website and realised the Technics series is still up and running! I can’t believe they still make it; I though the Bionical series took it over. I’ve always wanted a set since my early teens :sniff: My computer game funds may take a hit this holiday…
Mummy! I want to go Stonebow’s house to play with his Lego!
Lucky bugger
