Will this be a bright spot in 2020 or yet another way it sucks? Hard to be worse than the previous one.

Whoever they have writing the Lego shows is really funny. Maybe they’ll be able to overcome the stupidity of the original. I’m not getting my hopes up.

Just watched it. Looks pretty good. Maybe Lucas and Disney are hoping it will erase memories of that original “Holiday Special”.
Basically stealing the idea of the TARDIS and making it a key lets them tie it all together.

It was SO much fun. I enjoy the LEGO star wars stuff anyway, so this was just perfect.
Half a LEGO Darth Maul almost killed me. So dark. So over the top. Nailed it.

Just watched it with my 6 year old son. Thought it was funny.
Kind of felt like the guy who voiced Emperor Palpatine was kind of channeling Seth MacFarlane’s Robot Chicken version.
