i usually like tall blonds… so i guess it’s a toss up. viggo is blond, legolas is blond. eh, legolas. deep guys are just too exhausting. legolas seems to just walk lightly through life. and he is named after a toy. ---

Mmm-mmm, Aragorn! Damn, that man is _hot_! My local bookstore has a life-size cut-out of Aragorn next to a display of Tolkien’s works. I always have to pause and drool. (My husband, a kind and generous man, claims to be amused by all this.) As for Legolas, I’m just not attracted to blondes. Or pretty-boys. Although I probably wouldn’t kick him out of bed, to be honest,… My only complaint about the movies is that there’s not enough nudity. C’mon, Jackson, you wanna pack the ladies in? Communal bathing scenes, followed by oily backrubs. Mmmm… ---

The Christmas season that Fellowship came out in theaters found me in a Borders picking up some books for gifts. I’ve seen the movie, I’m utterly enthralled, and my heart belongs to Aragorn again. So I’m standing in line, halfway distracted, when I notice out of the corner of my eye someone’s staring at me. Glance to the side, see if they really _are_ staring at me. Yep, they are, but I looked so fast I didn’t see their face. Definitely a person, though. I glance over again. It’s Aragorn. Or at least it’s the Aragorn standee, staring straight at me, hawking books. I giggled all the way to the register and told the girl at the cash register, who giggled right along with me. And then, this year, I walked out of seeing some movie, I can’t remember what. The big Aragorn Huger Than Life Poster for Return of the King was hanging straight in front of me. And staring at me. Can’t get away from him. 😃 ---

This thread reminds me of when FOTR first came out. I heard some people complaining about how Peter Jackson increased Arwen’s role in the movie - their theory was that this was done to “get women more interested in the movie.” But that’s obviously a load of cr\*p - I mean, c’mon. How could women _not_ be interested in the movie - Aragorn, Legolas, Elrond, Boromir, hobbits, Gandalf, Faramir, Eomer… There’s something for everyone! BTW, I think Aragorn is hotter than Viggo, and Legolas is hotter than Orlando. _shrug_ Aragorn and Legolas are both frickin’ amazing. Tough choice. I think I’d give a slight edge to Aragorn, but only because I typically don’t go after pretty-boys. But Legolas is an exception to that. ---

Frodo, Sam, and Pippen all singing off-key and splashing each other (Merry cleaned up ealier, and was the one who drew the baths for the others). How does Arwen stand it? Dirt just kind of slides off elves…and on to Aragorn, apparently. Maybe he wants Narsil put back together so badly because it has a louse comb attatchment.
