In one thread I tried to elicit a response from him on what it could take, hypothetically speaking, to convince him that John Edwards and the other “TV psychics” aren’t really psychic. He actually **refused** to answer the question and justified this refusal by saying the question was “mean spirited.” It really is heartbreaking to see someone completely close their mind like this. I’m amazed that anyone could put up such strong mental barriers to logic and reality. I seriously think this board should have a policy against people who are unwilling or unable to engage in any meaningful debate. It doesn’t do us any good to have people like that here, and it certainly doesn’t do lekatt any good to keep preaching his nonsense here. ---

Having used the last of his energy to do so, Dad would then go on peacefully to his just reward, having taken on one last idiot (with apologies to idiots). Perhaps it’s some kind of inverse Groundhog Day thing - instead of **lekatt** going through the same day over and over again, and knowing he’s doing so, he could go through different days, one after the other, but he perceives them as the same. This would explain why he repeats the same old arguments again and again, and why he ignores or forgets rebuttals - he is going through the debate _for the first time_.
