You fucking arrogant British son of a bitch. I never liked you from the start. I’ve been Graham crackers with more personality than you. You fight the most god damn boring style around. When, like the jackass that you are, you go into a heavyweight title fight overweight and unprepared. You could have waited. Vitali’s been your opponent for like 2 weeks. But you didn’t. You fight like you need a god damn oxygen tank. You get gassed after four rounds. If the corrupt California commission didn’t save your ass, Vitali, one eye or two, would have knocked you out. Then after the fight, you get to talk with Larry Merchant. And you pretty much try to revise the fight. You revise the fact that the fans cheered Vitali and booed you after the fight. Lennox Lewis, you are not, nor will you ever be, the greatest Heavyweight of any generation. Lennox, you are pretty much a god damn pussy. Lennox, you’re 38. You may want to consider your career options. You can fight Vitali and actually take him seriously. You can show your lack of testicles and retire. You can show your lack of testicles and go for somebody else. You say you digested Vitali tonight? Good rant. I especially liked the “British son of a bitch” comment. Especially since he dropped his Canadian citizenship after he won gold for us in the Olympics, (because being British would give him better opportunities), then developed a British accent. Hopefully Kirk Johnson, (a loyal Canadian), will take him out if they reschedule the original bout. ---

V.K was beating his ass down. He could have continued but the doctors stopped him. Lennox Lewis talked shit after the fight about how he was gonna win, but if V.K had stayed in L.L would have been beat down. He was beating him score-wise, and you could just tell. Lewis was tired ---

In the end, the ringside doctor did what Lewis couldn’t do: Stop V.K. Acoording to the scorecards, Vitaly was winning the fight. He landed nearly twice as many punches as Lewis, and although that says something about Lewis" durability, absorbing that kind of punishment will murder you in the later rounds. When the fight was stopped, Lewis wasn’t tired. He was completely out of gas. Had the fight continued, Lewis would have gone down. It was so obvious that even I could see it. Certainly, the fans saw it and they made their displeasure known. ---

Oh please! Like the outcome or hate it, Lewis WON THE FIGHT! He is the Heavyweight Champion of the world. The _doctor_ stopped the fight, not Lewis. He stopped the fight due to _severe injuries to vk’s face_. You can berate Lewis all you want, but he WON. And it was fair. The doctor couldn’t and wouldn’t have allowed the fight to go on with the kind of injuries VK had sustained. **RobbieFal** , your comments are _bullshit_. Lewis obviously would have taken VK down, or seriously injured him, which is why _the fight was stopped_ . What part of that do you not understand? ---

Well, according to HBO’s website, the final punch stats were … Lewis: 85 landed of 181 thrown (46%) Klitschko: 116 landed of 343 thrown (33%) While it’s obvious that he lost his legs after two rounds or so, Lewis’ _punches_ were landing far more frequently as the fight progressed. As he’s generally considered the second hardest puncher in the division (after Tua) a solid combination would have been all it took. This is, of course, assuming that he didn’t just collapse under his own weight by the eighth or ninth. Post fight? Lennox certainly came off looking like a prick, but Vitali came off looking like somebody who _needs to get to a hospital right fucking now!_ I was getting queasy watching him try to talk to Larry Merchant through a mouthfull of blood. It sucks that there was no definitive ending, but I’ve seen plenty of bullshit stoppages and this wasn’t one of them. Frankly, if Lewis is as concerned about his “legacy” as he’s always saying, then he damn well better give Dr. V. a rematch. ---

I find it bizarre that one guy can beat another - in more senses than one - and there are _still_ people that say that if they fought then the loser would win. Hey! Dreamlanders! They **did** fight! And your guy lost! There was, like, an **actual fight** that wasn’t in your head or anything but actually happened in the real world. And Lewis won it. What more do you want? pan ---

Opening up a cut on your opponent isn’t really indicative of boxing skill. It’s just one of those things that happen sometimes, a lucky swing, catching the eye just right, and a cut opens. You don’t even have to hit the guy hard. Excuse us fans who see an aging, unprepared champion get _lucky_ and win by cutting his opponent. Add to that Lewis’s revisionist history, acting as though he had the whole thing under control, and was just getting his ‘second wind’. ---

10 years or better ago Lennox Lewis was a robo-beast. Huge, ripped and quick as a cat. At 37 I’m sure he’s losing interest and winding down. Maybe only a couple more dances on his card. ---
