“The Left” complain a lot about Saudi Arabia. The Democratic Party…not so much. Which suggests that the party isn’t actually run by 'the left." Also, “the left” tend to be louder about domestic issues and practices that can actively be changed than about foreign countries’ practices that are also objectionable but much harder to influence. ---
