So? I respond when targeted. If you have a problem with that take it up with those who initiate and perpetuate the jackassery here and elsewhere. If you summed up the hivemind’s activity, especially the provocation in the Pit and the buddy buddy relationship off board with moderators from here you’d see the problem isn’t those who respond to the mentally damaged folks who initiate the hostilities and their enablers. ---

I looked up the Pit threads on other posters going back two months at the time. wolfpup was in 4 ouf of 7 of them. crowmanyclouds was in all 7. Both with multiple posts, most threads in the dozens. It doesn’t say what it implies–that these two people don’t participate in pile-ons. It just says that they’re mightily pissed off by pretty much everyone who is Pit. That doesn’t really say anything about the people being Pit. This is why when some liberals on this board tell conservatives to take a good look at themselves, I roll my eyes. ---

Jesus, that’s sad. I’m his 4th most replied-to person, and I think of him as one of the posters who snipes at me and rarely says anything substantive. At least the ones at the top of my list are people I have attempted serious discussions with, and I’m pretty sure they were trying, too. ---

Why do you assume that an echo chamber of people arguing in good faith is a bad thing, and that the subtraction of posters who troll or spout the same old baseless, idiotic shit is a negative? Liberals didn’t change the Dope. They haven’t changed society. Because that doesn’t appear to be remotely what you were suggesting. I mean, you started with a broad brush assertion that all Conservatives are dishonest, and essentially said the only people who count as “rational adults who live in a fact-based world” are Not Conservatives, which simply isn’t true. I would also disagree with your assertion that “Liberals” haven’t changed society; they absolutely have. Liberals have made massive changes to society. Many of them are very good changes. That doesn’t mean the progressive worldview is the only valid one or that everyone who disagrees with any part of their agenda is arguing in bad faith. The more you cover your eyes and plug your ears and refuse to listen to criticism, the more you confine yourself to an echo chamber that never challenges your views, the more risk you take of losing touch with reality and doing harm unintentionally. ---

With the amount of abuse the left has given the English language, again Humpty Dumpty would be taken aback by the sheer audacity, using nearly meaningless words like racism, fascism, and bigotry to describe the progressive left still has more accuracy than when the left abuses them to manipulate the populace. And really, you can’t get much stupider if you tried by equating a response to a pit post with the pit post that provoked the response. ---
