I strongly disagree. The main difference between the 12" iBook and the 12" Powerbook is $500. Is a little bit of brushed aluminum really worth a 50% price increase?
I love Macs, but I think that the low-end Powerbooks are a complete ripoff. If you don’t want to spend $2500 on the laptop, just get an iBook and be done with it.
