That’s true, but there’s a reason. Sleep-docs are sued more often than any other specialty, so they have higher malpractice insurance rates than anyone else.

Yeah, but sleep docs are paid the big bux AND sued more because the challenge is not to put the person to sleep, it’s to wake him back up. Killing the patient was EASY back in the chloroform and ether days–just keep dripping the stuff on the mask until his heart stops.
