And that is always the name of the show I draw when playing Charades. May I suggest: Killer Clown! The hysterically funny romp with John Wayne Gacy… For a real idea, I think they should do I Love Lucy - The Musical! They could have the back story (of their crumbling marriage) as a regular Broadway show with actors and dancers, but I think it would be cool to take a few segments from the old B&W TV series, and actually do those scenes in black and white! Meaning, ashen makeup and grey, black and white costumes and sets, so the entire effect is like watching a B&W TV on stage - live. Could be fun. ---

There is nothing you can come up with someone won’t seriously try someday. I perform standup comedy. A few months ago I was headed to a gig when I saw an ad for “The Book of Mormon,” the stage musical. I remember thinking what a silly premise for a musical it is and how Parker and Stone really need to consider getting therapy for their Mormon-related trauma, when it occurred to me it’d make a great joke, except I had to come up with something stupider. So I hit upon a fantastic idea… “The Silence of the Lambs: The Musical!” By the time I got to my gig I not only had the joke worked out but I had some songs: “I Wanna Be A Lady,” which was sung to the tune of “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly”; "“Buffalo Bill,” which is sung to the tune of “Oklahoma!”; and of course “Lotion in The Basket,” a parody of “Castle on A Cloud.” I did the bit and sang the songs to tremendous laughter and applause. Afterwards the sound and lights guy comes up to me and says “That was a great joke, but I’m sorry to tell you, there actually IS a Silence of the Lambs musical.” He wasn’t kidding: [http://www.silencethemusicalnyc.com/](http://www.silencethemusicalnyc.com/) Really, nothing in this thread is an unlikely candidate. Musicals are now just about the junkiest, most derivative and least innovative form of pop culture there is. Even the self-parodies are tired. Full Musical Jacket? Change **Showboat** , the musical to **Slowboat** , the musical. Have a lot of slow fanning by the ladies sitting in the shade. All of the gentlemen play poker or stand by the rail and check their watches every couple of minutes. Change the songs to bits and pieces of things having to do with _time_/. All should have many verses and be sung very slowly. When the women speak or sing, they should all mumble and have vocal fries so that you can’t understand anything they say. Have the ship’s bell toll every 108 seconds. Have a large clock on the wall that moves very slowly or sometimes slips backwards. All shoulders begin to sag after a while. You get the idea. ---
