Let's Critique Our DVD Collections!

Wow, some of you have some huge collections! I’m usually pretty picky about what I buy except for some blind buys that I didn’t want to bother renting (The Hulk & Spider-Man) and the American Idol movie From Justin to Kelly, which my wife convinced me to buy for laughs since it was only five bucks.

Anyway, here’s my collection:

I am still compiling my list. I’ll post my DVD Aficionado link when I get done. It’s tough to do off the top of my head while I’m sitting here at work! Also, I’m trying to figure out how to include all my old VHS and laserdiscs on the list. I might just find their nearest DVD equivalents, if any, and put them in their own folder under “Owned – VHS” or something. This ought to keep me busy tonight. So far I’ve realized I have dozens and dozens of movies that I always meant to buy and never did, and that I can’t remember the names of half the cheap kung fu flicks I own. Also, I don’t own a lot of pre-1960 movies, even though there are tons of them that I’d love to own. I’ve mostly picked mine up on the cheap here and there, and I guess the oldies aren’t usually in the $5.99 bins.
