Getting y’all caught up per chique’s request – Dopers have sent in close to $1,500 for chique, which is really beautiful. She has lists of contributors except for those who wished to remain anonymous – you know who you are. Thanks to everyone who posted and sent best wishes and prayers and good intentions and bux. Y’all are the best, you really are. We’re going to leave that thread stickied for a bit longer – perhaps 'til Christmas. Tis the season and all that. 🙂 ---

With two more donations on Christmas Eve the total is nearly $1,700. Y’all really are the best. Chique has not been well enough to visit here for nearly two weeks. I hope that she will return and give you all an update as soon as she is capable of doing so. In the meantime we wish her all best. I’m unsticking this thread now but not closing it – y’all can keep it going as you wish. Thanks to everyone who has helped. It’s a beautiful thing when Dopers look after their own. ---
