And before I forget, why don’t people remember the TJ Hooker skit from the same SNL show? It was just as funny–see, it played on the stereotype of Hooker diving onto carhoods of villains and holding on until they gave up (said villains never thinking about just shooting Hooker through the windshield, I suppose). Anyway, Hooker, in the skit, jumps onto the hood of the car of the villain and it drives forever! Through sunshine, through rain, through snow. Hooker naps, writes a letter home to his mom, etc. as the car goes on and on. Funny stuff. Well, I thought so, anyway. Sir Rhosis ---

I have an important question for the OP: when you end a sentence with five exclamation points, is it more of an exclamation than if you ended it with one exclamation point? ---

I don’t come here to talk and opine. I come here to listen and learn. OK, it _just happens to be the case_ that I talk and opine a whole frigging heap, but the justificiation for my membership fee is primarily what I take away from this place, not what I put in. And you can’t do that by lurking, well, not properly. I tried lurking for a month once on a self-imposed sabbatical, and although it was very interesting, I kept finding myself wishing someone would ask a particular question in some thread or other, so that I could read the answer. ---
