However, you were not attacked for attacking the “drug” of the SDMB, you have been attacked for attacking the other posters in your OP. There is a difference. Had you attacked the “drug” we would now be involved in a discussion as to the accuracy of your observation (just as we embarked on similar discussions that last dozen times the topic was raised). And in the example I gave, the 300 or so people plus the mayor and city council who got upset at Ottawa being called a hick town did not (it may surprise you) represent the total poulation of Ottawa. But the fact that so many did get upset proved that the journalist had hit a nerve. I rest my case. ---
