As y’all know, **Airman Doors, USAF** is leaving tomorrow for six weeks of fun in the sun at scenic Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Also, as most of y’all know, he’s had a [rough time](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=82062) getting to this point. At any rate, I thought it would be nice if we could send him off with a smile. Right now, I don’t know when his graduation date will be, but when he knows, I’ll know, and there WILL be a graduation Dopefest. Also, when I get his address, I will post again if anyone would like to write. I know it’ll mean a lot to him. Anyway, I’d just like to say, honey, I love you and I’ll miss you and I can’t wait to see you in January. Robin ---

Good luck, soon-to-officially-be **Airman Doors, USAF**. I’ll give you the best single piece of adive I received before boot: **Don’t take it personally.** The TI’s have a job to do and, one day, they might decide you’re “it,” do not take it personally, they are just using you to teach a lesson. Other than that, six weeks is a piece of cake, you’ll be done before you know it and then, as a Marine that grew up by Wright Patt, I can make fun of you. Here’s your smile- 🙂 ---
