World Series Time! Or, as I like to call it, The Four Horsemen vs The Three Wise Men (well, two Wise Old Men, anyway–Pettite and Clemens. But I’ll throw in Oswalt just the same 🙂 ). Normally, I’d say 4 \> 3, but I’d say the Astros would be a much tougher test than a tired Angels squad. Who’s the fourth starter for Houston, then? Backe? Or do they go with a three-man rotation? Should be an interesting series…since I’m not actively rooting for either team, and I don’t actively dislike either one, I’ll go with the OP by default: Go Astros! ---

Astros will likely go with a 4-man rotation unless they fall behind 3-0. Clemens, Pettite, Oswalt, Backe. Then you go with Clemens, Pettite, and Oswalt to finish up as need be. Since both teams have inconsistent offenses and great pitching, I expect lots of runs being scored. That’s just the way these things go down. And someone off of the White Sox bench (which is really bad) will get a big hit. ---

^From St. Louis and big Cardinals fan. Man oh man. I was so excited for a comeback after Pujols’ amazing home run the other night. Last night I was at the bowling alley with some friends from Chicago who were giving me crap throughout the whole game, which we were running to the TV between frames to watch. Darn Cubs fans… 😉 I’m sad because if I want to root for anyone in the series, it’s gotta be the White Sox. I can’t root for the team that knocked out my team. I never thought I’d be rooting for a Chicago team… And all said Chicago friends and saying this year’s for the Sox (which they don’t like, because they are Cubs fans) and next year is all about the Cubs. We’ll have to see about that… ---

Hmmm. My sister lives in Houston, but my wife’s from Illinois. The Astros used to be in the NL West (division loyalty) but they never had [a good movie](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095082/) made about them (vocational loyalty). Eh–who cares? It’ll be fun watching both teams duke it out. You’re both winners in my book (that is, until one of you loses). 🙂 ---

We’ll have to see about that… If Wood and Prior stay healthy for a whole season (and Corey Patterson hits, and about six other things), it’ll be far more amazing than the Astros making the playoffs after starting 15-30. ---
