In honor of He Who Knows A Lot, the them from either The Wizard of Oz or The Wiz. Also, for a bit of self-deprecating humor: “If I only had a brain” How about rewrites? “Yes, and how many posts must a Doper read, before you can call him a…” You get the picture. Final suggestion: “I don´t know enough about you.” (I love Diana Krall, but I like the Peggy Lee version better.) “I know a little bit about a lot of things, but I don’t know enough about you” ---

I had to memorize it for a Political History class… _Harry Truman, Doris Day, Red China, Johnnie Ray South Pacific, Walter Winchell, Joe DiMaggio…_ Because this is one of the few places where all those pop culture references would be understood. ---

Heh, great choices. The song is called “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, by the way. I’d nominate the following: Simon & Garfunkel’s “Sounds of Silence” - Because the SDMB is that voice greeting the darkness, pleading to be heard… Radiohead’s “Karma Police” - Because you can’t get away with anything here (well usually) Tracy Chapman’s “Telling Stories” - Because the fiction in the space between… Well, the cynical side of me has to consider it whenever I read anything on here.
