Last fall we played several rounds of Party Quirks, which I thought was a lot of fun. **Idle Thoughts** figured out how to play it online and ran several games, and I ran one as well – hm, actually not as well, since all the quirks got guessed when I ran it. Basic premise: a bunch of people (12-15) function as guests. The moderator (me, in this case) assigns each guest a quirk (which might be a role or personality, or a bit of wordplay, or whatever), and the guests have to write all their posts in accordance with that quirk. There are also 3 or 4 hosts, who have to guess what the quirks are. [Here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=9135800&postcount=1) is the OP from the game I ran. So, if folks would like to revive this – we need 15-20 people who want to play. Post here if you’d like to and make sure your PM is enabled so I can send you your assignment. Indicate if you have a strong and burning desire to be either a host or a guest. I’m not going to go back and review all the old threads to see who’s done what, so if you don’t specify, you may end up playing your usual role _again_. (Because I’m not reviewing old threads, there is a strong possibility that some quirk that has been used previously might be used again – so hosts, don’t discount one of your guesses based on that. I’d encourage others not to reread old threads to keep this fresh, but let your conscience be your guide.) Anyone interested? ---
