While I’m also of the mind that we could stand to get rid of some, if I absolutely had to pick a new one, it would be the barfy smiley. Hmmm, what would the shortcut look like? :≈ or :€ ??? ---

What we really need is just an improvement. The Jewicon is never useful. I have no idea how that made it in such a short list. _cough_ trilateral commission _cough cough_ 🆒 doesn’t do shit. I never know if :wally is calling myself a putz or who I’m responding to, but I wish he looked mad, like he was really calling someone a putz, and not being smiley about it. :o looks like he’s sleeping, not embarrassed, so I never use it. I don’t even know what you’d use him for. There are so many problems with 🙂 , 😛 & 😃 . 😛 is called “stick out tongue” but he looks like he’s laughing, so you can’t really use it to show appreciation of a joke. 🙂 is just stupid. 😃 is more for a “I’m being funny” vibe than “I appreciated your joke”. So, what we need to to remove 🙂 and 😛 and add a laugher. A roll-eyes is good. A shrug is good. One laugher. Head-smack is good. One insulting smiley, maybe just “putz” without the wise-ass grin. Confused is all right, sad is all right, mad is all right, wink is all right. As always, use judiciously. Perhaps instead of the “Og Smiley”, which to me isn’t especially Og-like, you could have the “Smite Smiley”, a bearded smiley with wings, hurling a lightning bolt. ---

**Stream of Emoticonsciencious.** I think a train crashing into a brick wall emoticon would be very useful in the pit. Or a train crashing into a steaming pile of doo doo. 🙂 Car full of scary clowns emoticon? Vulcan- (ears and the V thingie) and A frodo ( buldging eyes) emoticon would end up taking over Cafe Society. **OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH** What about a Mr. Burn’s Like Emoticon saying, " Excellent." Or, An emoticon like Spongebob that says, " Oooooooooooh…" Square and pursed lipped like our Spongy friend. How about a **Grammer Nazi** emoticon goosestepping in place, so that those who like to nitpick about your pathetic speling eror & now can do it with a sense of humor. And the collerary to that would be to have a soldier shooting a bazooka emoticon that send off the message, " Let the flame war begin" I have no life. ---
