I, personally, have always wondered why some people make SDMB such a part of their inner life that they could have time for, let alone be bothered by, the long-standing beliefs or arguments of another specific poster. ---

It’s a classic tu quoque. Yes, it is classic _tu quoque_, if the issue were a straightaway attack against **Starving Artist**. But in the course of making that attack, the OP directly asked if there were other posters simialrly guilty. In other words, the argument was not “Look how bad SA is,” but rather “SA is literally the absolute worst on the boards.” That makes the introduction of other posters absolutely relevant. ---

Come on, Bricksie. You’re whining 'cause he called SA the worst, when there might be a full half dozen worse posters? The pitting wasn’t over whether SA is literally the worst poster on the Dope, because how the smeg would you even measure that? It was about the problem that since SA is so awful getting into heated disagreements with him (you can’t really call them arguments since an argument is a connected series of etc) was pointless. In that point he was correct. ---
