Scored at HPB ------ the special “All Thumbs” box set of Thumbtanic, Thumb Wars, Frankenthumb, The Blair Thumb, Bat Thumb and The Godthumb. AND my coworkers at Da Jungle came through and delivered my “Best of the West” television series DVDs in the wee hours of the morning. Much culture is going to be had around here for days and days!!!

I just figure you planned on coppering your bet.
But you remind me of a horrible time travel movie I own a copy of – Idaho Transfer.
Spoiler alert – time traveling hippies are the fossil fuel of the future.
It was directed by Peter Fonda but I doubt he remember it; recreational substances could have been involved.

I got up to chapter 28 before stopping to build a couple of quiches. They’re in the oven and supper will be in about an hour. I’ll have leftovers for breakfast all week! YAY!
It’s been a pretty good weekend, apart from not seeing the sun.

Test is done but no grocery run.
I screwed up or the website was still screwed up and the order didn’t go through.
I was going to stop at the store on the way home but Sah-son said he would make do with what we have.
Not a problem for me because I am less of a picky eater.
It’s not as warm here as is in other parts of Maryland.
Only 41 here, it’s in the 60s in Baltimore.
Most of the ice is gone, except for a big patch by the driver’s side door, so of course as I am putting one foot in the truck the other one is sliding out from under me.
Ripple and I had BK for lunch, Sah-son has Taco Hell for lunch and dinner.
I got the grocery order submitted.
I’m ready for a nap but the dog is wound up and being bratty.

I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen(including the fridge), dusted ,vacuumed, and waled Gordie a couple of times. I watched the NWHL All star game, and the Blues lay an egg agaist the Penguins.:mad: Making meatloaf, mashed potatoes, Jack dainaels apple sauce and green beans for dinner.

Today I visited my dad’s house. I was using his computer, and a browser was open. I looked at what site the browser was showing, and discovered - my dad had left porn open on his computer! :eek:
Well, okay, it was actually a Reddit page called “Map Porn,” and it was just pictures of various maps. Nothing indecent at all! 😛

Lazy day, took a looooonnnnggg afternoon nap so I’ll probably be up late. The leak detector expert is supposed to be here Moanday, so while I have now completely dried out the carpet, I’ll have to turn the water back on tomorrow (it’s been off all weekend) so they can find the leak.
Otherwise, just another day in N. Ali-bama.

Watching _The Creeping Terror_ and _The Giant Claw_ AND _Warning From Space_ would all be less painful than _ **that** _. :eek:
Speaking of :eek: I just checked in to Da Jungle and I have now volunteered to double tomorrow. I blame it on the pure excitement of finding out the Electric Amish are having a concert in July. I just was so giddy that I wasn’t thinking straight. :smack:

Woke at 0430, did the pee thing, and when I got back to the bed, i was wondering what the motor running noise was–somebody had their A/C on.
At least for once, the brain donors upstairs wern’t the ones–their compressor is under my bedroom windows. Who needs sleep?

There is usually a fuse or circuit breaker outside by the compressor, and it’s dark.
Just a casual technological remark. Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) says I am nerdy to remark about such things.
