The lie is #1. There was an alleged gang-rape near my house one night during a nearby post-game (football) party. And I did work untill about 3:00am at the hospital that night, but unfortunately, the rest of the story is how I would’ve rather it turned out, instead of what actually (allegedly) happened, which was me driving home and not noticing anything out of the ordinary, and then hearing about it the next day at school and on the news. But I’m going to guess that your #2 is the lie as well. Your other two stories seem to have more specifics…“60 feet”, “at the knee”. ---

1. I haved walked on the set of Star Trek The Next Generation and sat in Captain Picard’s Chair (the one on the bridge). 2. I dig holes on beaches and when people ask me what I’m doing I growl at them and tell them I’m looking for buried treasure. 3. I once convinced an electrical engineer that Ocean Engineers are a new breed of engineers that work with Terra Engineers and Atmospheric Engineers to terraform planets, and that that I was currently doing research on how to create an ocean on the moon. ---

I was on national TV earlier this month for the election. (Actually, now that I think of it, I believe I was on national TV before, in my first campaign, but let that go.) As for national radio, I’ve done that too, but oddly not for my electoral activities: once for my metro website, and once when I was a little kid, being featured on a variety show for inventing an electric mosquito swatter. 2. False. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Robinson a couple of times (at an anti-Fred Phelps protest in 1999, at the Quebec City protests in 2001, at the Winnipeg NDP convention later in that year, and at the Toronto NDP convention in 2003). And he phoned me at home to wish me condolences when my dad died. But he’s been quite platonic about the whole thing. (I’m told he once cruised **elfbabe** ’s boyfriend, though!) 3. True. Hiking in a Manitoba provincial park as a kid, I waded out into a fast-rushing stream, got caught up in it, and was swept down the waterfall. I was undamaged but freaked out.[/spoiler] ---

Wait, I thought you told me you DID all those things! 😉 My three are: 1. I was once invited to meet with Stephen Hawking and missed it because I had procrastinated my thesis and desperately needed to make the deadline. 2. I worked at the Superconducting SuperCollider for 3 years and was extremely P.O.-ed when certain idiot politicians started railing against it. It almost turned me into a Republican forever. 3. Carl Sagan once told me I was an idiot for posing a question (from a large audience) about the validity of the fundamentals of Quantum Mechanics (at SMU – ugh, I can’t remember the year.
