Also a video music pioneer. So, this is an easy choice for me. Davey has the edge in theatrical and (perhaps) singing talent, and general cuteness, but that doesn’t add up to Mike’s talents. How about Davey or Mickey? That seems like a fairer comparison. They were the two main Monkees singers. Both did a little songwriting (very little). I know who I give the nod to. ---

Adele. I like Norah Jones just fine, but Adele is clearly the more dynamic performer, and that’s puts her on top for me. Pete Yorn or Matthew Sweet? ---
