What a fucking self-absorbed moron. Yes, I’m talking about good ol’ Scott Stapp, the jesus figure/vocalist from Creed. I saw him tonight on the Celebrity Poker Challenge and my blood pressure is up a couple of points. First of all, he knows nothing about poker. That’s fine and dandy although I probably wouldn’t agree to be in a tournament. But he gets pissed off at the other players when the only incompetent one at the table is him. For Christ’s sake, you aren’t even a good singer but at least you have a way to pay your bills, I suppose. Given a job that required any sort of critical thinking, you would be on the unemployment line so fast it would make your head spin. Whatever, smarts and poker skills aren’t that important in the life of a millionare rock star. BUt at least have the decency to not cop some pissy juvenile attitude just because your fucking pair didn’t beat the person with two pairs. There are too many other people on the show who, even when they suck, are able to joke about themselves. You wouldn’t even consider making fun of yourself though. It must be tough to live in the world with all those other people when you just know how awesome you are. There, I just had to get that out. Feelin much better now. ---

I only wish I could get in a no-limit game with Stapp. In a series that showcased terrible celebrity players he was the worst. A couple of decent players could set Stapp back so far he would have to play bars in Des Moines for his pocket money. Can’t say I would have a problem with that. ---
