I was thinking of starting this thread, but Guin beat me to it. First I want to say that the 90’s was the first (and so far only) decade I have lived through in its entirety, so they had better not mess it up. This is _my_ decade. It’s possible that my memory might throw in some suggestions from the late-80’s, so bear with me. Some of the things are: as others said: boy bands and gangsta rap, the 15 minutes that swing music came back, slap bracelets, _White Men Can’t Jump_ … I’m having trouble remembering what movies they might cover. I thought that the Elian Gonzales thing went down in 2000, but I might be wrong. There were some other things I was anticipating, but I can’t remember them now. ---

That would be Midge, but she wasn’t unwed-her husband was sold separately. Except she was post-1999, so we won’t hear of her (I believe it was 2002). Other mentions- Clueless Ren and Stimpy Who Shot Mr. Burns I admit to having a soft spot for Michael Ian Black, being a HUGE fan of _The State_. (Wonder if THAT will come up) And am I the only one who finds Donal Logue sexy? ---

The “Unfinished Thoughts of Donal Logue” segments had me howling. Fun fact: he ran this year’s Boston marathon. Didn’t Bobby Brown have several hits in the 90’s? Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” will probably get a mention even if it’s a montage of all the commentators covering their ears, cringing and screaming “For the love of God, turn it off!” Tom Hanks in “Philadelphia” and “Forrest Gump” should get a mention. The dotcom boom in the late 90’s was pretty privotal as well as Napster. ---

**Kids in the Hall** I know it started in 1989, but they were pretty big in the early 1990s. They had irreverence that SNL was severely lacking at that time, so they were a refreshing change. Oh, and you can get a great username from the show, too. 🙂 BTW, Season 2 is out on DVD (if you buy it on their website)! ---
